February 2025 - John and Gwyn - We spent 28 days at the plucking Barn and it was amazing. The hosts Claire and Andrea were very accomodating and always there if we needed them. Would highly recommend it. (taken from Cottages.com)
November 2024 - Beverley - We had a lovely week with our 3 dogs. On arrival we were greeted and shown around. Dogs were happy with the treats an we had a lovely welcome pack. Its very comfortable and cosy. We had the bonus of a paddock for the dogs to run around securely. Pleanty of DVD's to watch movies and lots of information on different locations. November 2024 - Angie and Stuart - A lovely Barn conversion, light and airy with excellent views. Quiet and peaceful with a secure enclosed field to let our dogs run free. Great for touring West Coast of Wales. Warm throughout, equipt with everything you could possibly need including towels for the dogs which we forgot. Claire and Andrea very welcoming and friendly and we'll definately be back when we next visit West Wales. (taken from cottages.com)

April 2024 - Carly - A welcoming large proprty for 4 people. Lovely views from the first floor balcony, with red Kites flying by every day. Well positioned for mid and south Wales, but be prepared to drie to everywhere. If you like a cooked breakfast I recommend the Mark Lane Bakery & Cafe in nearby Lampeter. Would definately stay here again if we come back to Wales. (taken from Cottages.com)

July 2019 - James, Alex, Matilda (6) and Phoebe (4) - We have had lovely stay. The Barn is comfortable with everything yo need and great space for the "free range" kids to roam. Claire and Andrea were great hosts even decorating the Barn and providing cake for a surprise for Matildas birthday.

We stayed four nights, the Plucking Barn is gorgeous and the view is beyond beautiful. Everything that you need is provided including holiday dog tags. The paddock for the dogs is superb, our boys loved it. Other place are easily accessible,we particularly enjoyed Aberforth. In Lampeter Grannies Kitchen was recommended to us and the food was lovely, it was also dog friendly, which was a bonus, water and treats were brought for the boys so they were pleased! Lovely relaxing stay and we will definitely be returning, the hosts were very friendly and helpful

Just absolutely amazing
Not sure where to start but WOW what an amazing place to stay.
The barn is just perfect and wonderful inside. Luckily for us the weather has been unbelievable and sitting on the balcony looking at the amazing views is worth the trip alone.
We booked here as soon as we read the reviews, saw the photos and more importantly found out about the enclosed dog paddock which our 3 springers love. Its probably the best, safest and biggest area we've seen for where the dogs can have a great time while on holiday.
The utility block literally has everything in it. The amount of books, dvd's, games etc as well is awesome.
Everything is clean, tidy and well looked after. The covid measures put in place are second to none. So much so there's even a box to put items like dvds and games in that will be cleaned before they are out back.
A lot of our holidays we have actually considered or gone home a day early, but that wont be happening here. We needed the rest and relaxation and we've certainly had it while staying here.
Claire and Andrea the owners made our stay even more enjoyable and it was a pleasure getting to know them. They are just absolutely lovely and nothing is too much trouble. They said we could of stayed the rest of the weekend and we would of if it wasn't for work.
The little details like dog tags with the location and phone number, dog treats, bowls, balls and an endless supply of dog towels really did mean alot.
The 1st day we lay on our dog beds on the gravel in the sun and was soon told 'We don't expect guests to do that, make yourself at home and use any furniture you see'.

An amazing holiday home that feels as comfortable as your own. The bathroom would not be out of place in an expensive hotel and the whole barn was spotlessly clean. The attention to detail was more than I expected and the owners are lovely and extremely helpful, though also very mindful of your privacy. The setting could not be better and the peace and quiet of the area together with the view was beautiful. If you are undecided whether to book don't be. You will not be disappointed, the reality is even better than the pictures. A perfect holiday that was as geared to our dogs as to us, although would be just as nice if you didn't have dogs. We will be returning.
